Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the AeroCheck app for iPhone and iPad, created by Florian Mari.

No account, no tracking

AeroCheck has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Location

AeroCheck uses your location only if you allow it, only while the app is open, and only to show aircraft near you. Your location is rounded to about 1 km on your device, then used to ask public ADS-B networks (adsb.lol, adsb.fi) which aircraft are nearby. It is not stored.

Flights, aircraft and airports you look up

When you look up a flight, a tail number or an airport, the request is sent to the AeroCheck server, which fetches it from data providers (adsb.lol, adsb.fi, OpenSky Network, adsbdb, AeroDataBox, planespotters.net). Results are cached briefly and are not tied to any account.

Data on your device

Starred items and settings stay on your device.

Children

AeroCheck does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating this page.
